About Maria

Maria earned her Juris Doctorate (JD) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2025 and is currently prepapring to take the Alaska Bar Exam. Maria is currently a Rule 44 Supervised Practioner practicing under the supervision of Christopher M. Cromer.

Maria graduated from The University of Alaska in Anchorage in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. Maria is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to expanding access to legal services to Alaska’s growing Spanish-speaking community.

A recent transplant to Alaska, Maria and her husband were stationed here by the Army. Maria has since retired from the military and made Alaska her permanent home. Maria has fallen in love with Alaska and its people and looks forward to its summers to hike every possible trail. Maria has two wonderful kiddos and two German shepherds, all of whom love to hike with Maria.
