Katharine Penrod is licensed to practice law in Alaska and specializes in family and criminal law. Katharine enjoys all the adventures that Alaska has to offer, especially hiking and running with her wonderful puppy Charlie. You can learn more about Charlie here.

In 2022 Katharine moved to Alaska to serve as a prosecutor at the Anchorage District Attorney’s Office. At the DA’s Katharine specialized in juvenile criminal cases as well as unclassified felonies, including high level sex-crimes and homicides. She joined Anchor law in 2024 where she channels her prosecutorial experience and mind into advocating for clients and vigorously representing them in court.

Katharine earned a dual Bachelors in Arabic and International Studies from Georgia Southern University, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2019. She earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of South Carolina School of Law in 2022. Katharine’s passion for law continues to be focused on protecting the rights of children and victims of violence. Katharine helps clients in English, Spanish, and Arabic.
