Ron Offret, Partner

Of Counsel, In memorium

1944-2021

Ronald A. Offret (RAO) December 8, 1944 to Oct. 26, 2021 in Anchorage, Alaska. A loving husband and father of 5; lawyer, golfer, and true man of his time. He attended the University of Washington in Seattle and continued onto law school at Lewis and Clark College, and then furthered his passion for law at Boston University where he earned an LLM degree. He made many great friends and acquaintances in law school, some of whom convinced him to head to far away Alaska to practice law in Anchorage. He ended up loving Alaska so much that, to the dismay of many, he stayed and lived out his remaining 50+ years as founding partner of the law offices of Aglietti, Offret & Woofter.

Ron was always happy to share his advice, jokes and his countless favorite songs with anyone who would listen. He had a great passion for golf and found it a convenient way to miss work and explore warmer climates. He also spent weekends enjoying hiking in the trails and mountains around Anchorage. He was very tolerant of his wife Ina's need to adopt old senior poodles and let them live out their last days spoiled and pampered in love and peace. He is predeceased by wife Kathleen Bradley Offret, and is survived by his wife, Ina; and children, Rebecca, Craig, Elizabeth, Amy, and Nicole.
